    Good/ Bad or other wise but Jake Cave will probably be another Mike Hessman whose entire career will be mostly in the AAA minors. Maybe he can try to become the next all time Minor League home run hitter.

    Buxton was interviewed recently and said he hate the DH assignment, it totally screws up his timing as a player sitting on the bench rather than being in the field. Larnach interviewed same day, said he likes being DH, it gets him into the game and that helps him improve, the this is great, get me out there, tone of voice he had was the opposite of Buxton's this is the pits.

    Twins need a good glove, not a good bat, best glove wins, period.

    WOW, Ted Williams was lucky his whole career, who needs talent.

    For good batters the umpire does not matter they will kearn to work the system; for not so good batters the ump. can be a life saver.

    Fate has swung for the Twins so far, it would have been the opposite last year.

    He will learn, when the umpire redraws the strike zone you learn to swing at what may seem to be bad pitches; Twins need another player who thrives on bad pitches.

    Or something close to that, Twins defense has been a major failing too often; strong bats have not been lacking.

    IF he beats the Yankees, he is deserving; if not, same old, same old.

    His fielding skill need to improve vastly and the Majors is not where you do that; Twins have had a number of rookies who come up do well then fall on their face's batting.

    He is not a newbie brought straight from AAA like Miranda, Lewis, Conteras etc. if you cannot see the difference, your opinion and you are welcome to it.

    I like Celestino, have not dissed him want him to stay; is a rookie with good fielding skills, the newbie rookies this year have shown why they need time in AAA; no idea how you came to your conclusion.
