  1. Jeffers chance to not be Jeffers. From gamecast, Jeffers is swinging at garbage.
  2. Jeffers calls a good game, or that is what some say.
  3. Arraez is putting more oomph in his swing this year, same thing Carew did his best year with the Twins; some times tring to hammer the ball works even for small ball hitters.
  4. Arizona Diamnond Backs agree with you.
  5. Lordy, Jeffers brings a pitcher change, my, my, my.
  6. And when Sano gets back he will hit .270 with 40 home runs.
  7. So all the brouhaha about bad umpiring is the catcher fault.?
  8. Kirilloff 39 at bats, 7 singles , 2 doubles. Garlick 68 at bats 15 singles, 1 double, 6 homr runs. The extreme bias against Garlick by some here is obvious.
  9. If the catcher is setting up his glove, six inches to a foot outside the strike zone , as I saw Jeffers do in a game last week, that umpire is going to call that a ball, IF , he is looking at the catcher's glove: or if he is looking at the catcher's glove and the ball accidentilly does hit the strike zone, then catcher has stolen a ball in what should have been a strike.
  10. It seems Baldelli thinks so also and the Twins are dropping fast, while other teams put base stealers in scoring position because Jeffers/pitchers can or do nothing about it.
  11. Kepler stole 10 bases last year without being caught; Polanco 11-6: 2017 Buxton 29-1, last year 9-1: last year Gordon 10-1 The can do it, they just do not.
  12. And the Twins defense goes down the toilet with the won-loss record.
  13. What is referred as hobgoblin of little minds? Definition of A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds. A great person does not have to think consistently from one day to the next. This remark comes from the essay “Self-Reliance” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. Emerson does not explain the difference between foolish and wise consistency.
  14. Paranoia strikes deep, into your game it will creep.

    Uggghhhh

Tim I agree , to me it was there was a switch that was turned off at the 5th inning, turned out the lights as the party was over.
  16. Jake Cave had a .786 OPS his first 91 games up , I guess he should be a full time player; obviously you are not a baseball genius.?
  17. Another obtuse new creation is pitcher "location" His location is he is standing on the mound, period; his control over his pitches is what they used to say, before their grammar was reduced to the level of some one who flunked sixth grade three times.
  18. Celestino is needed as he is the only one with the range in center field; but you make a good point.
  19. IF when Kirilloff's batting average is above and stays above Larnach's , they their is reason to send Larnach down; before that would be bizarre, at best. When Garlick comes back , some one is going down, who depends on the strange way the Twins system works; and those who think Sano is not coming back, dream on.
