    You beat me too it , amazing our pitchers came through at shutting down Boston's line up in the opening series ... We have life again or a 1 game lead in wild card , some will say 2 because of the tie breaker .. We really had no reason to win this game but Boston didn't either ...

    Cleveland has clinched a playoff spot , my heart has skipped a beat , the twins lineup has skipped showing up to play , 3 fricken hits and 1 earned run ,... I like pitchers duels as much as the next guy , but this is ridiculous ... It's back to changing the name again , from twinkies to the Minnesota possums ... they play dead at home and get killed on the road ...

    To me that was a collapse , the twins were leading the division and were the favorites to win , it was a upset and Boston went on to lose to the cardinals in 1967 WS in 7 games ...

    Wallner had a fine game but Correa had all the rbi's , so yes Correa player of the game unless our bullpen throws 9 strikes for an immaculate inning ...

    It's interesting to say the least , detroit is creeping up , twins are slipping , royals have suffered some hardship too ,,, Detroit is in the race , no doubt about it , ( its anybodies for the taking ) red Sox are fading , Seattle still has a slim chance ... It's between Royals, twins and Detroit and anyone of them can take the second wild card ... Twins got to get the bats hot and bullpen will have to be good as well ... And yes I remember the 163 game against Detroit , the piranhas lived ...

    Can he sustain it , at least for the remainder of the season I think the answer is yes , he a very motivated player .... PLUS , while he was on IL list and then on a rehab assignment , he said he changed his batting style back to his last year with Cincinnati , so with his health good and a different batting style , it's not surprising to see him perform better ... Just keep hitting Kyle , we need the bat to keep collecting hits , we need it desperately ...

    It was a win, stressful as it was .... It was a good game until it wasn't ... Pinch hitting for wallner who had both rbi's at the time again is a head scratcher , Margot pinch hits for wallner because wallner is lefthanded and pitcher is lefthanded , Margot continues to go hitless as a pinch hitter, 0 for 29 , I guess the twins like to break records , last year it was breaking the strikeout record for a season .... The twins , as the season winds down and wears down ( with injuries ) and barely in playoff contention need to analyze the team for 2025 ... They need to make a TO DO LIST for 2025 ... I'm sorry to say ( this roster is supposed to be major league caliber) but it seems like our players talent is being wasted , I emphasize that a player should never stop learning and coaches should never stop coaching ... We have quality talent that just isn't performing up to our expectations or I'm sure the players expectations too ... the TO DO LIST . Teach these players the fundamentals of the game , ( bunt , ( jeffers hits a scribbler down the third base line and reaches 1st base , yes an imitation of a bunt ) , steal bases , better base running , defense and a better approach at hitting for more consistency at getting on base , rbi's and runs do matter .. all the above referenced reflects that of the coaching , it's time for a change on coaching but FO might blame this all on injuries , if we have the talent that will be a lame excuse once again , players have talent , take that talent and make it a better talent , the players need to keep learning at this level and not be wasted on bad coaching ...

    I won't say it was interesting but I will SAY IT WAS STRESSFULL , once again ... Way to go captain Jax for getting the put out for 3rd out , he was definitely motivated ...

    Incredible margot 0 for 29 in pinch hitting ... Incredible for Rocco to do anything different and expect different results , wallner has the 2 rbis that don't matter ...

    1 pitch , 1 out .. Irvin in line for the win if lead holds up ... Will Rocco pull him , wouldn't want to ware down a fresh arm !!!

    I don't feel comfortable calling a homerun for any player , but I do feel comfortable calling for a double play ball ... Rocco pulling zebby and won't get the win , right around the mid 70's mark on pitches ...

    Zebby through 4 inning with less than 70 pitches , wonder if Rocco will let him come out for 5th ... He's getting the job done tonight but he's alittle shaky with command ...

    We haven't had a 100 rbi run producing player since Rosario ... Speaking of Rosario , that pitch in jeffers eyes brought back memories of Rosario swinging at those pitches ...
