    Alot of past post on keirsey Jr have said he's to old to be considered a prospect , if he's still in the minors , that makes him a prospect , maybe not a top prospect , there have always been players that have climb the ladder in the minors and made the show on their late 30' or early 30's .... If you look at his professional career you will notice alot of injuries disrupted his early development , but since he has been healthy for over 2 years , his development has been steady and it's worthy of a look see in the majors ... He may not get a look see as a twin but he'll get his shot with a rebuilding or non-contender next year barring injury ... WHY DO WE HOLD ON TO SOME GOOD PLAYERS IF WE'RE NOT GOING TO PLAY THEM IN THE MAJORS ... We let them walk for nothing when we could trade them when their value in high ... The kid ( keirsey Jr) has promise just like arraez did when he wasn't considered a high prospect and look how that turned out ...

    It was a fun match up of sonny and Pablo , and the twins won it ... Pablo struggled early but got through it all unscathed .... Larnach hit 2 dingers , the first one was a blast , probably farther then the tape measured , wallner they said on broadcast it went to St Paul ... Vazquez throw to Lewis nailed the runner at third was a highlight , Vazquez is certainly a better defensive catcher and his hitting has been acceptable , catchers are the most important position as they control the game , Vazquez is a savvy catcher , a week ago or so I remember him motioning to the pitcher to throw to first and the pitcher picked him off ... Get off Vazquez back , he's doing alot better than last year ... A good game , larnach broke it open with his 3 run blast , he's healthy and contributing ...

    If we don't start a 10 game winning streak soon , we won't be in contention at the end for the central division , we currently have fallen to the last wildcard spot , ahead of Boston by 3 1/2 games ...

    Saving money on gray and maeda to spend elsewhere ... The twins did not dodge the bullet in signing Margot and his inability to pinch hitting , re- signing farmer hasnt helped eitheŕ , twins have pinch hit the most of any teams and the results have been poor ... The twins took on two contracts in trades for 2024 ( margot and descalfini ) only because the previous team paid down on the contracts ... We dodged the bullet on payroll and that is all we did , descalfini never pitched beyond spring training ... We'll see how gray pans out today against the twins ...

    Festa gave it all he had tonight after 3 2/3rd innings 3 hits , 3 runs , 5 strikeouts and 2 walks , then the shakey bullpen arms come in and nothing got better , way to many walks given up and a total of 3 more runs between 4 bullpen arms ... Twins batters left there hits in San Diego , they definitely had trouble trying to hit , seemed like almost everyone was hitting on top of the ball and fouling the ball off ... They only had 6 strikeouts but when they hit it , they hit it right at someone , not to solidly i might add until Keplers hard line drive fly out to end the game ... Are some of the batters tired , or did they still have jet lag ... Julien seems to be swinging more often , 4 hit night in San Diego on Wednesday , tonight 0 for 2 with a walk and only 1 strikeout , his swing looks good , sure hope he is heating up ...

    Have keirsey prove he belongs in the show only to increase his value for a trade , the kid deserves an opportunity somewhere , if not here in twins Territory ... If we had a manager like gardenhire or Kelly , they would certainly be asking for a look at keirsey in the show ...

    If there is one person that has been standing out in the minors the past few season , it has been keirsey Jr ... The reason he has stood out is because he has been healthy , he started his professional career slow because of multiple injuries ... I don't care how old he might be , I think he could be an asset to the twins , if they don't protect him in the rule 5 draft or if he elects free agency , the FO are completely inept .... He passed through the rule 5 draft last year , no way he passes through this year ....

    Really liked Keplers defense , no question about that .... the offense is another matter , such a streaky hitter with alot of walk off hits , that I'll remember ... Fans wanted him dfa'd last year , but he changed everyone's mind after his second half resurgence , he helped lead the twins to last years central division winner ...

    Louie must like the bus rides in the minors , he is stubborn and wants to be a starter .... His best season so far has been 2023 bullpen , so if he wants to stick in the majors and have the good life , it appears to be in the bullpen ... Duffy was a converted starter and had some good years as a reliever , it's time for Louie to focus on what will keep him in the majors ...

    What an inning in the top half of 4th inning ... Singles , doubles and a game changing 3 run homerun ... Just the way I remember baseball is to be played ... 15 hits and double digit runs , the batters took the worrying out of the game early , nice game ...

    Everytime I read these minor league reports it seems our 2024 draftees are getting clutch hits ... Keep it up , cause we need clutch hitters , keashall had been raking until his surgery .... Nice outing for Lewis ....

    I did not know or hear Vazquez went to driveline this past off season until now ... When players are struggling , it's nice that the players who want to increase their production can go hear a different voice ... Vazquez has been quite productive the past couple of months , hope he carries it to the end this season ...

    I can take this loss alot easier than the loss to texas on Sunday for the sweep ... Zebby was okay but his pitches were pretty high all night long , wasn't hitting his spots as good as his first game and yes he got squeezed by home plate umpire on calls ...

    I say put Alcala right back out there in a pressure situation and see how his confidence responds , don't baby him like Rocco could possibly do ... Rest him up for another opportunity in a high pressure game ...

    If acala was not focused , then rocco should have removed him after 3 batters and I don't care how many pitches were thrown , acala should have been taken out ( he did this with richards about 10 days ago when richards couldn't find the strike zone and walks and runs were allowed ) , the manager did what he always does to let a game get away , he wants a pitcher to complete a whole inning and not bring in a relief pitcher to clean up his mess , ( if you believe Rocco's a capable manager , then i will disagree , I've said many times , Rocco will never bring us to a world series or win it ) ,... it's rocco's MO not to change horses mid stream , he wants a relief pitcher to have a fresh inning ,,, richards finally was brought in ( after 5 runs were scored off Alcala when he wasn't focused ) and did get the out and pitched another inning ...
