    I'll have to go along with the majority of 1 , roccos decisions do effect the outcome , yes the players do have to play but it's the managers and coaches responsibility to make sure that player is in position to succeed ... If this team was taught and played solid defense , hitting situations , basic fundamentals and so on , then it would be the players responsibility to take blame , this team is not properly coached with a baseball philosophy ...

    Yes Julian could get sent out too ... Keirsey Jr has good defense , but really don't know much about his bat because rocco doesn't start him , he had a decent spring training with the bat , for what's it worth ...

    Keirsey Jr has speed , he could be given a chance at top of order to spark things if he gets on base , he needs to bat , can't be any worse than what the line up has been , Lee comes up , gasser goes ...

    Buxton is a good player but injury prone as we know , starting 10 games in arow is a plus but he like others are not carrying the team with their inconsistent bats ... What stands out most of buxtons season so far is the missed catch in left center he caught up to and dropped the other day , he knows he should have caught it , will it be enough to ignite the fire to be better , he was upset he dropped it , that was easy to see ... Baseball is a game of concentration in the field and at the plate , will that dropped ball improve his concentration more ??? ... I don't blame cold weather ...

    Still would like to see a castro or someone with speed ( castro stole bases in 2023 and we won the division )at the top of lineup and Wallner 4th or 5th , his bat seems to be heating up and if it does he can produce more rbi's ... Put buxton in 2nd hole , larnach 3rd and drop Correa down to 6th until he gets his hitting going ... Keirsey Jr not getting any starts perplexes me alittle , time for a Buxton or Bader game off and Keirsey Jr in left or center , he needs some playing time or he'll rot on the bench ...

    Pitching looks good , but hitting hasn't got going as of yet , some have good starts but it takes a team effort to win ... Thanks for the review ...

    It's leading to a total system failure as the brains of our organization continue to do the same thing day after day and expecting different results ... Playing the game with analytic strategy is no strategy at all , can't keep reading from the analytic pages , maybe we don't even need a manager , I think the players could read those spread sheets and contruct a team to play more exciting baseball ...

    Week in review ... Really there is not anything more to say about the start of the season that our eyes haven't seen ... The team has played inconsistent baseball and the only place to go is up , let's play some better competitive exciting baseball boys of summer ...

    A dreadful loss allowing Houston to score 8 unanswered runs to win , I too thought a 7 to 1 lead was a comfortable lead only to watch it evaporate ... The eye test and the analytics tell you Jax is not the closer , Duran is our closer , it was a Rocco and bench coaches decision blunder to allow this to happen ... This team had 4 doubles and 8 singles , they scored 7 runs without a homerun , this is what they need to continue to do to score more runs , they are not a homerun hitting team ... Last , when will the twins ever learn to score the Manfred man in extra innings , at least you close the gap to 1 run in this loss ... This was a tough loss to swallow ... it's another loss in the loss column that could have been a win ...

    Rocco will always find a way to not get an easy win ... Well our 2 best bullpen guys have been used and now we go to the 10th all tied up ... Rocco went with his gut on Duran in the 8th and Jax in the 9th , how many times in this season we see our closer not close out a game ...

    Why wasn't the jitters worked out in spring training ... Why wasn't the team prepared the right way to start the season ... Why is Rocco and his so called professional coaches still here trying very little to change this team into winners , falvey hired these coaches ( his words not mine when he cleaned house , we have hired the top professionals at every level ) ... Falvey may have hired the top professionals for the minor leagues because they teach and a player developes , but at the major league level this bunch of professionals ( coaching ) are failing to see the light to continue the teaching process at the hardest level , it's plain and simple as the eye test doesn't lie , the team plays terrible defense and offense ... Oh and by the way , this team is not a homerun hitting team , get over it and start wishing for more singles and doubles and just a better consistency of play ...

    I like what I'm seeing from the bullpen ... Sure they give up hits but they aren't walking anyone ... In the past a pitcher would come in and walk the first batter he faced and then the hits and was scored upon , keep from walking anyone and the bullpen will be fine ...

    It's still complicated ... What I would do differently is fire Rocco , the players we have do have talent but Rocco and his coaches do not know how to address this ... Spring training was the time to address the issues and get this cleaned up , nothing has changed from 2024 except falvey got promoted to another higher title and we hired new hitting coaches ...

    You said it , the players aren't getting it done , I say it is all the manager and coaches and FO that should take most of the responsibility ... Minor league players have to develop to move up in the system , each level gets harder , you don't stop honing your skills , coaches coach so they can move up but once the player gets to the MLB level and the hardest level , it seems our coaches ( rocco's and Falvey's top professionals, their words not mine) aren't teaching this talented bunch enough to be a better talent ... I just don't see this happening with our youth since rocco's been deployed as manager , everyone screams that the team lacks fundamentals for example , there's alot more procedures they could instill in the players , situational hitting would be another ... Baseball is probably the hardest game to play in professional sports , are the players just looking at it like it's a job and for the money or are they just lacking the passion to be a better player or just collecting a paycheck ??? ... After 7 games they just don't show they prepared well in spring training for the regular season , yikes ...

    It's not whether you win or lose , it's how you play the game ... Man do they suck , waiting for someone to step forward and take responsibility , this is not an April fools joke , it's for real ... Light a fire under these guys ... I worked for a complete a-hole in my day , he knew his business , i didnt walk on egg shells around him but it made me learn a better skill , I worked for the guy because I wanted to be on the traveling team , I did walk out on him a few times , he didn't like it , but the supervisor had no problem with it ... The team doesn't need to play for an a-hole , it just needs to play for someone that knows it's business ... You guys figure out who I might be talking about , it could be more than just 1 ...
