  1. Heck, bring back Sano if this is on their radar.
  2. Salas, I think he was rated 93 by BP. So border line top 100.
  3. Clearly it hasn't beyond Ober (and Ryan, if you want to count him), but at least the FO is addressing the situation by acquiring starters by any means.
  4. I think the Twins were smart to deal Arraez prior to the shift being implemented. I think his bat-to-balls skills won't quite out-pace the league like they did last year. Likewise, a guy like Kepler could see his bat really improve due to the shift being banned, and he could increase his value as an asset in season.
  5. Starting pitchers are known for their health, right? Lopez will certainly be replacing starts by the 6, 7, 8 guys as well; it's disingenuous not to admit that.
  6. Buy low on talent with questions. This is really the only way a team like the Twins compete, right? Take the risk; good deal.
  7. That the Twins offered this money to him, tells us the outfield situation is unsettled.
  8. He was not acquitted. Prosecutors choose not to charge a high profile accused--not because he was innocent, but rather they either felt they could not meet their burden of beyond reasonable doubt, or it was not worth the media attention/resources/etc. Whether "consented" to or not, Bauer's behavior is objectively atrocious.
  9. Where in the last season was any of the pejorative thrust about Correa relevant? Sure, he had a rep coming in; but that didn't quite bear out, did it now?
  10. Behind a paywall, but it would be great to have a summary/bullet points of the article.
  11. MLBTR does have some good original content; but reports like these don't need to be "articles"; I preferred when they were just aggregators of links and tweets, and not so much blocks of words.
  12. I'm sure he meant PAs. I also find reassuring that the vesting years are also team-options. Edit:
  13. Really hard to have envisioned a better outcome for the Twins. The FO deserves praise today; their patience, persistence and keeping an open dialogue with Correa/Boras paid off.
  14. This. Without the injury concern the Twins would hardly be in the running.
  15. I appreciate your forward thinking; but I'm not sure any one of those players will even be worth extending. And Correa hedges against the lack of internal player development.
