  1. Thanks for sharing that tidbit.
  2. Look, I said he was depth. Obviously another injury forced their hand (which is why you have depth). But had Kepler not gotten "injured" we may not have seen either one of him, given that we've carried Miller for more than a week without playing him until today. I imagine history is filled with players on September rosters who never played in a game.
  3. They do in September, in case of injury. How many at bats does Ian Miller have, btw?
  4. Just a depth move. Nothing to get in a tizzy about, or really have any reaction at all over. I doubt he plays.
  5. The "up yours" comment from Byleven needs way more love. It's just hilarious on so many levels: he's so bitter, the Fox Sports North guy is so petty, that record will never be broken, and Bert knows it. How fun!?

  7. Schoop's lack of position flexibility certainly hurts his ability to contribute. But as far as bench bat, and insurance should Arraez flutter, he's a great asset.
  8. Series. I understand that you can opt for subtitles over the dubbing somehow. I've also heard it highly recommended

  10. With the political shutdown this got ignored, sorry. Stranger Things is great, especially if you have any affinity for 80s sci if: Goonies, ET, etc. The characters are rich, the writing and plotting are well founded, and the atmosphere is totally nailed. I love it.
  11. This ended up being great! Brock (and everyone), I think you'll dig it; the show subverts superhero tropes without being glib, and the finale actually packed an emotional punch, with some interesting and earned character dynamics.
  12. Although his over all line is problematic, he has a .864 OPS in July. Also 10 home runs in a little over half a season at in the Florida state league isn't nothing to sneeze at (8 of those coming since June began), especially from an up-the-middle player. I think being out of Ft. Myers will help Lewis quite a bit. Obviously the Twins like his approach lately, or this promotion would not have happened.
  13. He was drafted in 2018, so no need to be added to the 40 for another year.
  14. Hate giving up Diaz after his resurgence, but the Twins are facing a 40 man roster crunch and with Rooker and Lanarch, I suppose he was expendable. That said, Romo better not be the only addition to the pen, because that is a meh acquisition.
  15. Watched the first couple episodes of the The Boys from Amazon Prime. I really like it; very entertaining. The premise is pretty simple: corrupt super heroes.
  16. Well, could you cheer a spiders demise? Monsters are a key feature in Witcher lore (he's basically a mercenary for monsters), but I don't know how gross the show will be. The video games weren't scary, and only occasionally gross.
  17. Huge fan of the videogame series (but I've never read the books). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSqi-8kAMmM
  18. I just finished Season 3 of Stranger Things, and the last episode hit me, hard.
  19. But were the movies good? Yesterday looks pretty fishy as a premise...
