    Congratulations to the Twins - feels good to be in the postseason again. I am actually looking forward to a one game playoff since it is the Yankees. The previous Twins-Yankees series always seemed to be an excruciating death march - this one will either be like ripping the band-aid off and ending our season or a huge pleasant surprise. Really nothing to lose - no one will expect us to win.

    Let me add that I love the greatness of these recaps - now the first thing I checkout even if I followed the game. I am so happy that these 2 young players Rosario and Buxton got to enjoy being the hero in the clutch in these last 2 games. After blowing late leads in each of these games their hits provided such a big turnaround in emotion and in the wild card race. Hopefully gives them and the team a confidence boost going forward.

    Add my thanks for all the writers who did the updates - I looked forward to reading these every single day. I will preface the next comment with I don't know what this means in the long run in terms of player development to the majors, but in terms of a combined look at all our affiliates records, playoff appearances and championships this has to be one of the best minor league seasons ever. It was sure fun to follow them this year.

    Rosario may need a day or two off. Don't like the bunt with a cold Rosario and Buxton next up

    Certainly disappointing to have Santana and Berrios pitching against the worst team (also hurts to not blast Shields, Holland and that White Sox bullpen) and lose both those games but in the words of Ron Washington - That's how baseball go. As I look at the standings we are still in 2nd place in the wild card race. Let's get a win today.

    Dang - no Sano again and facing a lefty. Hope he gets well soon. Big void with him out of the lineup - Escobar in the 4 hole. I have given up asking for Vargas or Garver to be called up.
