    Hit on a few of these gambles? The whole flipping team is a gamble except for Rosario, Berrios and maybe Gibson. We are always betting on long shots and maybe a couple of middle shots. They can't even seem to get the sure things right (Buxton and Sano). When we do get a decent pay back they let them go (Escobar, E Santana and Hicks). I am 99% sure we are going to regret letting Santana go. So this year as in the last 10 or so we have to hope most of our players can find one more year when they are 2 years removed from their last good one. On the positive side I am glad Escobar, Santana, Hicks and Dozier are on to bigger and better things!

    I don't understand why we didn't keep E Santana. I think we will be sorry on this one.

    We can spend. Pay a high quality pitcher what they are worth. So sick of bargain shopping!

    I hope it is a splash and not a belly flop. I get so hopeful but we have been let down so many times I feel like I should get ready for a flop instead. But I don't want to be negative since this is of the biggest things in years. As I write this I wonder why we are the team that hopes for splash instead of getting the for sure thing. I like to imagine him playing every day with a great chance of an RBI or HR.

    Is there an average number of years it takes to get to the MLB? After so many years do they just give up?

    Bremer's focus on pitch counts is annoying. We can all read the scoreboard.

    I wasn't that impressed with Odorizzi or Cave. They seem okay but not very exciting.

    When will things shake out enough for Dozier to find a spot. Will it be an invite to a spring training or is he going to be picked up as a 2B? I would hate to see his career end like this. He is a really good guy who got stuck on a pretty bad team for his whole career. At least he got to experience the WS.

    It is like Christmas for the first time in at least 5 years. I was excited to get E Santana and still wish we had him.

    How exciting!!!!! I think there is still a lot of money to spend. I looked at Spotrak and we down at 27th in payroll. Like really really low. Addison Reed is our highest paid player. I think Cruz may sell a few jersey's and get people to buy tickets so that makes even more money to spend.

    Does any one have an idea on where Dozier will land? Is he in a tough spot or will some team grab him?

    I am glad you disagree but we keep having promising players get traded and then "turn the corner". Why would they trade Hicks? If Buxton and Sano have another bad year then what?

    Could they purposely tank it here to get traded? Hick tanked, got traded and went on to a play-off team. Dozier tanked went to the WS.

    I would say it will be a long time. If/when Buxton, Sano and Berrios are at great the Twin's won't pay them to stay or they won't want to stay and will go on to a winning team. Also they are not MN boys!

    Why do we need to go cheap? Didn't we go cheap at 1st? I see no reason to go cheap on pitching or DH even if it is for one year.

    Why can’t they sign Cruz as an everyday DH? How exciting it would be. Much of my frustration the last 10 years is we haven’t had a regular lineup. Who is the last real HR hitting DH we have had?

    What about ticket sales going up because they sign someone like Bryce Harper or trade for someone like Trout? I know those are extremes but because we have had nothing in the last 10 years ticket sales are down or do you think they really don't care as long as they are making a profit. We think we deserve a competitive team and they want profits? Doesn't something have to give? Get us back on track, won't that increase ticket sales that leads to more profit? Was listening to MLB XM radio last night and they had Cards fans excited to go out and buy jerseys? When is the last time we had that excitement? Not since Target Field opened that I remember?

    No, I mean a Bryce Harper or at least be in the race to get that kind of player. All we get a players like Cron where we can speculate IF he is as good at last year or 10 years ago.....blah blah blah!

    Every year they are NOT ready to compete. That is most of my point. 2020 now and next year it will be 2021 because a couple of people won't work out. This is like year 10 of NOT getting the great competitive team we were PROMISED with a new stadium!

    This is the 2nd most depressing time of the year to be a Twins fan. I would at least like them to be in the bidding for some of the top players but from everything I have read it is not going to happen again! It will be wait until 2020 and so on an so on. Yes not much has happened but we are not even in the talks! The most depressing time is July when we are already out of it and sending our "stars" away.

    I know not much has officially happened but tons of predictions and talk and nothing the Twins are involved in.
