Doesn't matter, the Brewers are gonna kick their asses anyway.

Brewers dynasty loading…they have all these guys except Contreras under contract into the 2030s.

Milwaukee is going to give the Dodgers a run for the WS year after year. We could potentially see the Brewers be the Yankees of the 90's with their affordable star-studded lineup. They invested in their future with the younger players and let their development team go nuts. It has shown they can play an old school style of ball and win. I LOVE TO SEE IT.

I like looking up and down the rosters of the players.

And saying to yourself... Who are these guys?

22 of the Rays Roster were not top 100 prospects.

Baker, Williamson, Mesa, Deluca. Aranda, Simpson, Walls. Palacios. Vilade, Seymour. Seems to work ok for them.

The Brewers they have quite a few top 100 guys. They are still a young team. 1st round picks seem to pan out for them.

If the owners get a salary cap, the Dodgers are going to need to completely rebuild. It's tough to predict what they'll look like after. That said, Milwaukee feels like the next Astros franchise right now.

Dodgers will not need to rebuild because everyone will want to sign with them still but for reduced values. Also, I'm not sure the Brewers are the next Astros. The Astros in 2017 had a much deeper and more controllable lineup than the Brewers do right now. The Brewers also do not have a deeper farm system than the Astros did in 2017.

The Rays caught a year when some of the recent better teams had their struggles. They had players rise rather than falter or have injuries. .

The Rays were the better team.

The players collectively had a better season this season than other teams.

Correct and therefore.

We all love playing the games on paper before the games happen.

I get your point. I enjoy your posts.

The Rays had no business landing where they landed on paper. Victor Mesa Jr. was placed on waivers by the Marlins. He doesn't look all that great on paper. Simpson, Walls, DeLuca, Palacios, Williamson and creating a real good closer out of 31 year old Bryan Baker isn't going to cause a rush to draft kings for Bets on the Rays over the Jays and Yankees.  😉

That has not been the trend in baseball. Players have always signed wherever offered the most money, with a little bit of wiggle room (like 5-10%) for preferred location. The Dodgers will have to cast off half their roster and will not look like a competitive team if a salary cap comes. That's not a premier destination anymore.
