Here’s a real question for the TD writers… When do you tell a switch hitter to stop switch hitting because they’re unplayable from one side? 

Brooks Lee this season has a .574 OPS entering tonight as a RH vs LH pitching. In his career entering tonight, it’s a .621 OPS in 420 PA.

I'm not a TD writer.  I wish I had an answer for you.  Since TC loves the platoon to a fault, they will probably stick with it. We have seen it before where switch hitters will drop the one side from time to time and pick it back up later when it feels comfortable for them again.

EDIT:  If Lee didn't switch hit, there would be too much of an itch to platoon him at 3B.

Platooning Lee specifically seems like a pretty good idea if he’s in the low 600s throughout his career already.
