MMBoys93 Verified Member Posted July 23 Posted July 23 It’s too bad Cleveland never gave Kwan a juicy extension. Would have looked really good for the rest of the division

I saw a top 100 list yesterday (not one of the big familiar websites) that had Jhomnardo Reyes in the top 100. Obviously that's not consensus, but I've got more reason to pay attention to FCL box scores now. Based on his numbers, I'd guess he gets bumped up to Low A once the FCL season ends.

You have an opinion that is why you think they are making the moves they are. I have a different opinion and I understand the landscape and I have already explained my thoughts. Zoll is doing the same as Falvey and favors the more conservative moves. Just like having Outman break camp over Roden and ERod, when he was clearly outplayed. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/lockout-looming-over-mlb-december-170033299.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAF3gIuRILOHQbBTAn-a5NiY65OX9Cp0zoH5d1FFq60p7cQgmg6f2tnZqRddP7qX-Uw-nvwwFK5i34HHTfQkCvlVhlhLkQtnHy0JoTqjtN9Y13s7cgtlg_8IoCwIMhN7F7tS7eFsQAMI_6w9ywyXx6ADI4iUPMsh1SzhoIyu5Q3Bz Pete Alonso with certainty says there is going to be a lockout. I have heard 2 podcasts where league officials and managers have stated that CBA negotiations could cause concerns bringing prospects up. Go look back at articles from 2022. The minors were unaffected as they were under a different CBA. Zoll specifically hasn't said anything, but his actions have said everything. Church of Kreidler 1

If the Twins can make two really good trades, they could be third.... Not that I expect that.. Tampa is light years ahead of anyone else. According to them.

After Bradley - Its Abel, Matthews, Priellip, Festa??? then what. Quick is in double A In high A you have Hill and Soto struggling. Ellwanger is injured, Gallagher is struggling Bohorquez is struggling. Matt Barr is pitching in the international leagues. Reitz is doing ok in A ball. We then have all the prospects from this year. This group of pitchers really need to start figuring things out next year.

The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted July 23 Posted July 23 That might've been the quickest challenge I've seen - ump hadn't even completed the punchout
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Interestingly, I think Minnesota is showing it's not ridiculously hard to build a bullpen.... If you are willing to move starters like Morris. Had they moved him sooner, and signed one mediocre guy, the story would be very different. Hawkeye Bean Counter 1

For MLB its really spread out. Cubs is probably the most. Northern Iowa is probably majority Twins fans. I am from Sioux City which carried the Twins games. Southern Iowa where I live now has a lot of Cardinal/Kansas City fans. There is a smattering of Rockies fans. Pretty wide swath in general with 40/50% probably Cubbie fans. S Bart 1
