Ryan yields 6 HRs in a game, about a week before trade season. Do you find it suspicious or merely an odd one-off?

a) Suspicious

b) An odd-one off, joining 11 others who have done it.

Just curious to hear the boards thoughts.  Joe's a fascinating person/athlete. Clearly the heart wasn't in it. Shelton's cupboard was bare.

Mike, no implications on my part whatsoever. I just find it that odd that one of the finest pitchers in ball gives up 6 gopher (sic) balls to the team that has the lowest slugging average in baseball.

Want to hear what the board surmises.

You certainly seem to be implying something.  Just go ahead and say it, instead of trying to get someone else to say it for you.

Of course, be prepared for a ton of downvotes, not that they matter.

Sorry to disappoint you and I don't wish to argue.

Respectfully, db

Do you think Cleveland was stealing pitch com signs?

Joe is a competitor through and through, no way he served those up on purpose. He may have somehow been tipping his pitches, or he just didn't have much movement on his pitches. I did notice that he was sitting 95+ in the first, but was down to 91 in the third, and not much higher for the fourth.
