9 extra pitches for Ryan because Keashall couldn't catch the ball.  That's the difference between 6 and 7 innings.

This is what happens when you play musical chairs with defensive positions.  You have to live with the learning curve.  Too bad we don't have a guy who can play CF in St. Paul.

A more than capable player for CF/SS sitting on the bench and we see that type of play from someone who has 5-6 games at the position, in turn adding to the pitch count. Somewhat frustrating.

It was great to see Dick Bremer honored before the game today. No disrespect to him at all, as I genuinely like the man. However, some of the overt embellishment he used to praise the front office and the organization made me cringe.

If I am not mistaken, he is still connected to the organization as an advisor.....or whatever. He probably gets perks or even a stipend.

Well said...there are no set position players for the most part. I can understand a person like Clemens, but Buxton's injuries have created openings....and most importantly...Lewis. Keashal, and Lee have caused issues of trying them at different positions during season.

Are the twins alums/bremer staying for game?

Be interesting to see if he returns to speak in the booth with his name on it. Most of the time, the individual being honored does it.

Cory said that he would be.

This is the part that still frustrates me, Lewis, Keaschall and Lee were performing where they were expected to perform and hadn't regressed since the beginning of the season.  So either the moves should have been made in spring training or next off season.  This is on the organization for poor planning as much as the players.  And they have basically replaced Lee with someone who is grades below him defensively, so where is the upgrade.

I find Kreidler to be equal to if not better of a fielder than Lee...Gray??

Yes I don't disagree but they are playing Gray there more, which I don't know if anyone understands why.

Yeah, even with Gray getting that hit, I don't like where I see the platoon situation going here. Kreidler makes up for the platoon disadvantage with his D.

This is an example of analytics gone wild, get away from the computer and watch the action on the field.
