More importantly Denny Green calling for a knee to end the 4th.

Too bad he didn’t at the end of the half. Turned the game around. It was going to be a possible rout at that point. I cried, I was 12. 09 had the better chance to win it all but 98 was a worse loss

I have been a Twins and Vikings fan all my life. My disappointments/heartbreaks with the Vikings have far exceeded mine with the Twins. They go back prior to Tarkenton's days. At least the Twins can bring the state championships (2).

It's a Genesis 3 game. The serpents are striking our heels, but we're crushing their heads.

I couldn't see '87 as it was on ABC.  I grew up in such a rural area that we could not pick up ABC on an antenna.  I did get to see most of '91 as it was on CBS.  The late games in Atlanta I couldn't see the end as I had to go to bed.

Here we are, in our mid to late 30s with mortgages and real life problems. Never seen a championship in MN men's sports.

I noticed you stated Men's....Minnesota Lynx

I’m not counting the lynx. I’m sorry.

And women's hockey Minnesota Frost. Would be cool if I was an actual fan of those teams.

I saw a Twins game in Arizona many years ago in July, I parked the car and the attendant handed me a frozen bottle of water. Apparently, it is some that is customary due to the heat. It melts fast.

They did say that Rojas was on the road trip.  This would be a great game to send out Lawrence, let him stay out there and try to get an old-fashioned 3 inning save.  Then DFA him so we can bring Rojas back to the team.

Lawrence has a good chance of being the 12th pitcher to record a save for the Twins this season.

Lawrence has an 11.81 ERA with the Twins.  That is 1.31 runs/inning.  If he keeps to his standard, he'll give up 4 runs in 3 innings and we can still win the game!

So you come into a 16-2 game and walk the first batter. He has no idea where his pitches are going ever.

As soon as I saw the introductory article about him on here, I knew its was going to go very poorly.
