They are ok ( I do not disparage their work, but it is limited) but while we can pull out a tape measure and see how wide our garage is, we cannot accurately measure range. 50+ years of adult baseball experiences tells me that nobody has a definitive way to give us that information. Those who argue otherwise are simply short on visual and physical experience.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 He has the strike zone surrounded. Just not penetrated.
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 The Cardinals are tough. They find ways to score and make all the plays on defense.

Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Still within spitting distance but I just don't feel the scoring vibe today.
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 We had some chances to go up early and could not convert. Maybe late..

So you tell me, did DOGE save the U.S. three trillion dollars? The numbers either count or they don't count. Same, same .... but different. FWIW, I had a system of keeping track of fielding plays and plate appearances that I used for decades. It was quite complex but simple to keep track of and record. I never shared it and never felt it was definitive either. To each their own.

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Austin Martin has lost his confidence, which makes him a less than stellar option. He was on a good streak for some time but there are a number of holes in his game that suggest he does not make for a regular starter on a decent team. Linus and jaimedude 2
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Kreidler has been scuffling. Hit one here.

I’m glad they took this season to find that out instead of waiting until next season. Now we know he’s not an everyday guy. tony&rodney 1
