DFA lasts 7 days. 

Within that period, if you intend to put the player on waivers for a demotion to AAA, it's a 48-hour process.  But it doesn't have to begin on the day of the DFA.  This allows time to work out a trade if that's the intention.

If he's on waivers now, we'll know the result soon.  If not, we'll know by sometime Saturday morning.

Agree 💯… I live in Wisconsin, 5 hour drive, usually make 4-5 games a year… now being retired I would happily do a couple more, however only two last year… boycotted after the Rocco extension. If they stay in contention I might make a game or two… but I just don’t see what the goal is… the roster is filled with 30 year old journeymen utility players…. I would make the drive to watch potential future fixtures, not doing it for Bell, Arcia, Kriedler, Gray, Outman, and half the BP…… sorry that play by Gray would not have been an incredible play WTF ….. you want asses in the stands field a team worthy of driving five hours for…. or get up some of the young talent.
