We got a gap day on Tuesday.  Allows the bullpen a bit of a reprieve today.   I guess it works.

Tough to blame Buxton there as he's an aggressive baserunner, but he had to know the fielder was going to get it in quickly...who'd a thunk he throw behind him 🤦‍♂️

Challenges notwithstanding I like the way Caratini sets up, moves around, etc. He’s more athletic than I was expecting.

Abel with a nice inning,  can he give us 2-3 more of those.

Jenkins having a nice day,  2 for 2 with a walk.   Kriedler -  small sample size but is he figuring out how to hit? 2 strong days back to back, including a homer today.

Whats with Luke ,  every time -- 1st pitch,  get him out of that 3 spot  and lead him off ,  to young and trying to hard !!!

Wallner putting together some very good at bats this series.  Several walks,  2 strike hit.    I am cautiously optimistic.   

 

edit: did that go to a challenge and called a strike?  Damn that would have been a run.

Ober's pitch count wasn't high, but its clear the O's had figured his poorly located 90mph fastball and 84mph lob changeups.
