nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted January 8 Posted January 8 It also seems to me that we've had some of these mundane things pushed back before because the Wilfs' don't live here and there was a scheduling issue. But yeah, it could be something big brewing or it could be sensitivity to the local situation.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted January 9 Posted January 9 B-Flo's right hand man Daronte Jones is getting interviews with both NYJ and Dallas for their DC opening. It feels like we're going to lose at least one of these guys to a new opportunity. Hopefully not both.

I think if he leaves us, that's the most likely scenario. But I think if Flores goes, he gets promoted to our DC.
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Interesting to read other views of Flores. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/baltimore-ravens-analysis/79651/ravens-request-to-interview-vikings-dc-brian-flores#comments https://www.silverandblackpride.com/las-vegas-raiders-rumors/119643/raiders-tom-brady-brian-flores-candidate#comments https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ryan-fitzpatrick-warns-teams-hiring-164535379.html

Rowson left to become the bench coach (Miami I think?), because Shelton was still the Twins bench coach. After Rowson left, Shelton got the Pirates gig, so the Twins go to keep neither, even though had the order of leaving been reversed, they probably would've kept Rowson. All that to say, I'd rather lose Jones than Flores, but if Jones leaves first, I'll be very nervous about Flores right up until every HC slot is filled.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Vikings are better than Carolina at this point. You’d hope one day the NFL would stop putting a premium on winning a terrible 4 team division Mike Sixel 1

I don’t think Bryce Young will ever be a top 10 QB in the league but he’s middle of the pack. Carolina probably has to extend him and that’s when they’ll get in trouble

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I’m barely paying attention to this game. Way more interested in Packers @ Bears tonight
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Carolina should be down at least 10 at half.

gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted January 10 Posted January 10 The idea of the packers losing five straight, including to the bears in the playoffs, would be awesome. Parfigliano 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 10 Posted January 10 These coaches are ridiculous going for it in some of these situations
