Trading top 10 QBs in the prime of their careers isn't common, so forgive me but I'm just listing "comps" up to you for definition...

33 age season Matt Stafford traded to Rams for 2 1st round picks + 3rd + 2nd contract age 27 Jared Goff

26 year old Jay Cutler traded to Bears for 2 1st round picks + 3rd + age 27 Kyle Orton

27 year old Deshaun Watson to Browns for 3 1st round picks + 3 mid to late round picks

34 year old Russell Wilson traded to Broncos for 2 1st round picks 2 2nd round picks + Noah Fant TE and Drew Lock 

After reviewing this, the Vikings likely have to offer 3 1st round picks, a 2nd or 3rd (maybe multiple), McCarthy, and maybe 1 more player (Oliver, Redmond, etc?)

What helps the Vikings is Atlanta's pick is gone regardless. They have 0 reason to tank and give the Rams a top 10 pick.

I was thinking about this a bit but Cincy should fire their coach, hire Flores. Tell him he can fix the defense anyway he wants but to leave the offense alone. If he can just make the defense respectable, that's probably enough to win the AFC North next year. If that doesn't work, you can look to trade Burrow later.

Also, maybe this feels hyperbolic as I read it....but does it feel like we have more "worst loss I've ever seen" type finishes happening lately?  The Giants/Broncos.  Vikings comeback against the Colts.  Patriots in the Super Bowl against Atlanta.  And I feel like I'm missing some from just this year alone.

The Bengals aren't trading Burrow, and if they are his trade price is going to be bid to ridiculous levels. A package of 2 1sts (the first being a non-top 10), a reclamation project of a QB and a WR2 that needs to be paid is not gonna do it for them.

The trade for that happened a couple picks after us, the Rams got a really good deal moving from the late 1st to 2nd round for the Falcons next year first. I wished we could have made that move, it was a good move on paper at the time and now that the Falcons are bad, it could be a top 10 pick. The Falcons' one consolation is that they guy they moved up for looks like a stud, ED James Pearce who already has 8 sacks. You could say it was a variation of the Dallas Turner trade, except we didn't give up a 1st and Pearce is much better already.

Yeah I thought I missed something where the bengals would seriously look to trade him. He’s not on the field an awful lot to be giving up the farm. Plus if he hates his offensive line now in cincy, he’s going to love ours?
