It would be great if he played so well that it's hard to replace him with Keaschall 3 or 4 weeks from now.  I would be happy to see him play well enough to be great in a bench role this year and going forward.  He is better defensively and more versatile than I expected.

He has definitely helped the team and his defense has better than expected.  But he needs to be a bench player.  He should not be taking AB's from Lewis and Lee and currently he is.  He has started the same number of games as Lee this month and one more than Lewis.  The Twins have to find out what they have in Lee and Lewis and if Clemens is the best you have to replace them, then they need to be in the lineup.  Rocco and the organization falls in love with these marginal vets and this why we are a .500 team.  If they can't do the job then move on, but they find out what they can do.  Lewis has impressive numbers over his first 162 games, but sitting him every third game is not going to help his development.  Clemens should only be playing a couple of days a week.

Clemens had an incredible May while Lewis couldn't buy a hit. Lee wasn't great in May either. That's changed over the past 2 weeks but I can't blame the Twins for riding the hot hand. I also think Lewis is still rehabbing his injury which would explain the extra off days. Sitting him every 3rd day might be what is keeping him in the lineup the other 2 days.

Regression to the mean usually happens. Kody had a hot streak, but his track record isn't that of a major league star. He's getting most starts at second vs. right handed pitching and that is fine until and unless two of Lee, Lewis and Bader show they are markedly better.

So, a team's 3rd or 4th pick to start at 2B or 3B (Julien, Lee, Castro at2b entering the season all get the call before Clemens- even if he was on the roster) (Lewis, Miranda and Lee at least at 3b) not being a "replacement level" might be the dumbest "take" on this site!

How are other teams' (projected)AA starters producing at the MLB level???  There is a legitimate comparison.   Clemens has held the fort, and then some..  I'll gladly take another Clemens start before more Cody-clickbait.

The Phillies decided that Bryson Stott would get nearly all the playing time at 2B.

Stott produced a .671 in 2024 and has a .631 OPS thus far in 2025.
