Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 7, 2025 Author Posted June 7, 2025 Not the kind of inning you’d expect from Gausman.
Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 That's the Royce I like to see. Do not have to be a hero, just keep the line moving. HarmonK03, Parfigliano and Richie the Rally Goat 3

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 7, 2025 Author Posted June 7, 2025 Clemens reverting to exactly who I thought he was. That was a bad AB. knothole61, CRF, thelanges5 and 1 other 4
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 That was a called 1st strike on Clemens? It was in the RH batters box
Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Please don't give it right back. Parfigliano 1
CRF Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Somewhere along the line, we need to figure out how to get some hits with the bases jacked, instead of HBP's or walks. It's incredible how ineffective we are with them loaded. Parfigliano 1

Randy Griffith Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Kody Clemens is probably getting tired of seeing Wallner on base when he steps up to the plate. It seems to lead to lots of double plays that really shouldn't be! Patzky 1

Run support while he has been in the game: 3, 4, 1, 0, and 0. This is likely the best chance for him getting any run support this game. Thank you Patzky 1

cheeseheadgophfan Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 So let’s see if I got this straight: 1. Gausman yells at the umpire on pictures that are clearly balls. Doesn’t usually help the pitcher 2. Toronto manager comes out and it’s clearly arguing with the ump about balls and strikes… Isn’t that an automatic ejection? 3. Gausman hits France, walks Royce and when Clemens is up he gives them a first pitch fastball 10 inches off the outside of the plate for a first strike? Changed that entire at bat. Combined with last night effort, the umps behind the plate are screwing us. Parfigliano, knothole61 and Doc Lenz 3

Randy Griffith Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Four pitch at-bat for Jeffers: watched two called strikes and swung at two balls off the plate. Aren't catchers supposed to know the strike zone, especially after half a game? Patzky 1
Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 I was hoping they could have worked Gausman another batter or two so we wouldn't have seen him in the 6th. SD happy 1
