There goes Zabel. I didn't really want him but this is the run on the trenches that we were worried about. Pick makes sense for Seattle.

When Deion goes on an accusatory, ill-informed, conspiracy-theory and largely unintelligible rant about his son sliding and how he's going to use his platform to make everyone's life miserable because of it, everyone is going to understand why no NFL coach wanted to touch Shedeur.

"Oh, right, we probably didn't want that distraction on an NFL team......"

I think Mel Kiper is going to cry if Shadeur doesn't get drafted in the 1st round

I would enjoy that so much.

I liked when he showed all the QBs that slid from his rankings over the years, and he's saying something like 'six of these 12 guys were all great!" And the most recent guy was Aaron Rodgers, and before that it was Brett Favre.

If a trade can’t be lined up, take a RB or a WR and go 1998 on this thing

Matthew Golden would be one hell of a weapon.  Opens up trading Addison next year too.

No Golden.

I didn't care for him myself though. Seems like one of those guys you only use to run down the field but doesn't get used much otherwise. I like Luther Burden better. But would rather go TreVeyon Henderson if we're going the 'loaded offense' approach.

OK, I like Campbell and Henderson. Otherwise I'd trade down, but I could live with Emmanwori.

Anyone but Will Johnson. If they pick another injured CB and then act shocked that he can't play, KAM needs to be shown the door.

Seems like a reach.

Buuut, if this guy is a college tackle that will move to guard, maybe he's Darrisaw insurance.

I can't fault them for investing in the line.

That said, the Giants just dealt 34, 99, and a 3rd for 25.   I think I'd have taken that if I was Kwesi.

Maybe but who would be there at 34? Houston needed Jackson (first comment after Viking pick - THEY TOOK DONOVAN JACKSON OH MY GOD KILL ME). Jackson was the last guard to take in the first. DL is already thin. Take the guy who can fill the line, don't get cute.

Now I'm going to have to go through pages and pages of posts to brag about saying Dart was going before Sanders like four months before it was cool. But beer is making me lazy, so maybe tomorrow.

I mean, take a bow, but there is no way this works out. What an absolute disaster for the Giants.

Not sure, but Jihad Campbell, the two safeties, maybe Burden, kick Conerly or Simmons inside.  It'd just be nice to land another pick is all.

If the Vikings believe this is their long term LG, well then I hope they nailed it.

I don't disagree that another pick would be nice but I think it's clear the Vikes were prioritizing the lines and waiting would likely have not worked out as well.

No one should complain about JACKSON being a Vike. I thought he would be picked by 24. Our OL is now set for years.  The war is won in the trenches.

Is anyone complaining?

Seemed like a well received pick here.

Welp, I should shut up.

Golden would have been awesome for us. Man, that’s really tough that both slots below us took trades. The Rams getting a 2026 1st for trading down 20 slots this year is a steal. I am very jealous of their trade.

Just preempting the complaints.
