Tired of the Chiefs Well, unfortunately the team that comes out of that battle the least unscathed will be the one that ends up playing KC. KC plays the Texans next week unless the Broncos upset the Bills. Original_JB and Vanimal46 2
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Gonna be fascinating to see what Pittsburgh decides to do with their 2 QBs on expiring contracts. Not sure I retain either one.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Still amazes me that Tennessee let Derrick Henry go for nothing. One of the biggest blunders in recent memory Mike Sixel and Danchat 2

With this scheme and the lack of talented skill players, this had to have been the most optimal outcome for them offensively. gunnarthor 1

Pittsburgh is always in no man’s land to draft a QB so they probably have to lock in Wilson for 2025. If I were them I let Najee Harris walk without question. Justin Fields moves on to be the bridge in LV or one of the NY teams. nicksaviking 1

This is what you get when you care about looking respectable year-to-year instead of caring about winning a Super Bowl with a long range game plan. It's rare in this league that you can have your cake and eat it too.

One of the biggest blunders in recent memory The 2024 Offseason is going to go down as the mystery of how Hall of Fame players in Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley only got $12M per year deals when teams were giving those kind of contracts out to mediocre players, like Gabe Davis to the Jags for $12M and so on. And Kirk Cousins getting $90M to play one season in Atlanta.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Nix's tools are better than I thought, but his stats get fluffed up by short passes. He has one of the lowest average depth of targets in the league. And even like today's game, people will point to him having a 100+ passer rating and nearly 50 yards rushing... and they've scored 7 points midway through the 4th quarter. He needs better weapons, but I wonder about his ceiling. Vanimal46 and TheLeviathan 2
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 AFC is so top heavy. I can see why KC didn't want Cincy in the playoffs.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 I’m pulling the for the packers. And will also pull for Washington. Only shot at a home game I think GB has a shot. Philly has always looked beatable to me.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 Erin Andrews is still fine as wine Vanimal46 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 Maybe I’m wrong, but I like how everyone acts as if the giants would be in the playoffs right now if they had kept Saquon. It really didn’t make any sense for them to keep him. People forget how injury-prone he was in NY. He would not have had 2,000 yards with the giants and they still would have sucked eggs The mistake was giving Daniel jones that big contract, and I wish they hadn’t so the eagles couldn’t have signed him
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 Man the Green Bay returner got ****ing smacked

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 The NFL is rigged nonsense
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 Maybe start thinking about taking the touchbacks, GB

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 I am hoping for the Packers somehow to fluke their way into a victory today, because it would kick Philly out, and the Packers would almost certainly then get slaughtered in Detroit. Highly unlikely they even put up a fight today but, ..any given Sunday gunnarthor and Parfigliano 2
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Posted January 12, 2025 Philly is just better. Tough matchup.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2025 Author Posted January 12, 2025 Stepped away for a bit, but did they ever explain how that kickoff fumble was allowed to stand? Don’t know if it would have made any difference, but it probably killed any shot of a GB upset
