You can't make it up.....2 hits through 4 2/3 and at 80 pitches and brings in a guy that got released a week ago.

Rocco can you pleez tell us why

KC and Seattle both lose which helps. But if Twins can't win this game it may not matter too much. Rocco with his 'managing' manages to turn a 2-0 lead into a 3-2 deficit because his reliever couldn't throw strikes and then when he did...it was high and mighty over the monster. Irvin has been terrible.

Twins just seem to be clueless. When will the switch be flipped? Probably never. But...they do have the hapless, helpless, clueless Orioles to end the season. But both teams define frustration. Both managers and their coaches have totally ticked off their fanbase.

Folks...this could be Rocco's last game as an away Twins manager. ...but it would be more important to see if we could fire Jim Pohlad. If you don't want to invest Jim....SELL...

Talk about "Rocco'd."

Your season is on the line, with a pretty much full bullpen, and you turn to ... the recent waiver wire acquisition.

I'm sure somebody is going to tell me, yet again, that managers don't have much effect on outcomes in MLB.

Why the rush to get Zebby out of there?  Oh no, he's facing the order a 3rd time!!!  Managing scared just like he did with not letting the lefty hitters face lefty pitchers.  Analytics are worthless when you have zero feel for the game.

But then, we've been saying this for 6 seasons now.

I have rarely seen a player go from darling and hero to 'why is he in the lineup' like Lewis. Since returning from his last long injury, he has mostly lost it. An occasional decent AB but the BA is now in the .240's. He's not a 'bust' but he IS a disappointment and has added to the Twins ineptness at the plate.

So their answer to the Sox 3 run inning is 3 quick outs.

Laughing on the plane from Baltimore,   or  Roaring ?  at this    Trainwreck   Detroit , go get it

O's totally beat themselves in both losses this weekend. Terrible coaching; terrible baserunning; terrible clutch hitting and a touch of bad luck.

You need to move your seat to next to the Twins dugout and spend the rest of the game going all Robin Ficker (look him up) on Rocco the rest of the game.
