Twins Minor League Transactions (2023-24)

Balozovic was still on the Saints roster last I checked this afternoon with no actal transaction posted so I'm guessing the two teams are working out the details.

Well Tony Kemp opts out of his Saints contract, ends up with the Bats so the Saints hit him with a pitch in his first game for the Bats.

What's the story behind the Twins trading "cash considerations" to the Mets for Rylan Bannon, who is listed as a third baseman? He was assigned to the Saints, but he does have some MLB experience. Is this more of an  insurance move in case Miranda and Lewis are out longer than expected?

My guess is infield depth at Saint Paul more than for the major league club.

They will need some infield depth if Julien is promoted back to the MLB team.

Yup, but he'll have to earn it right? Injuries are always a thing. 

I could also see Keaschall not being far away from getting to AAA too if that time comes. But maybe that's more an August thing.

That's certain something I've never heard of a minor league player doing. He was our recent 6th round pick.
