Good for Eddie. He was injured for a while last year, and I wasn't sure if he would come back and contribute to the Braves anymore at all. But he has hung in there and got himself back in the lineup, and is still coming up in the clutch as you noted. A fun player!

Always a fun player to root for.  Wear's his emotions on his sleeve and you can tell he cares about every single at bat.  He has always been an amazing hitter with pitches out of the zone as well.  Glad he is doing well he is good for MLB,

Yeah, he's had a nice career, actually. Just under 40m in earnings. 9 seasons (so far). 1 WS ring and a post-season MVP. Not bad at all for a fourth round pick.

Heh.  The Twins wanted to get out from under an expected $8M obligation to him for 2021.  Cleveland took that on.  Now he's getting $9M a year from Atlanta.  Meanwhile we have Joey Gallo at $11M this year.  Maybe in effect we got Joey for Eddie.*  Joey's won a game for us this year.  It's complicated....

* Last year the equivalent was taking on Gary Sanchez's contract?
