KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Feels weird watching NY be the team that can't get out of its own way during a matchup. I could get used to it though...
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 6 of 8 games with a home run. It isn't how they pitch him. Or, don't give him credit. Up to you.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Well that was bound to happen.
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Why pitch to him with the lineup being what it is? It just doesn’t make any sense.
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 At least nobody was on right? Jfc....

Judge is just a beast. What you do is try to contain him and not let him beat you. Solo homers won’t beat you most of the time.
RpR Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Varland has to quit putting himself in an early hole gave Judge an advantage.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Hell of a comeback after the Judge homer.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 You pitch to him in that situation 100 times out of 100. It’s the other situations where you shouldn’t
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 So far, so good for Varland. Helps that the offense finally decided to show up in the early innings.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Guzman called out on strikes twice, disagreed with both calls, yet in his case, both calls were correct

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 4 innings, one run, two hits? 15 pitches per inning? I'd take that 100% of the time. Also, dang, more people live on my block than are at this game * *slight exaggeration.

downunder twins fan Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 OK let's get that ERA up!
Tlaker Verified Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 With the pen being what it is, chances are good the next time Judge comes up, there will be men on base. That solo homer will loom large.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Good lord was Miranda crawling down the line?

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 Varland for 5 duran for 4? ?
