Most likely he burns up Jax, Duran, Lopez in this first game. Then uses the JV for the next one, therefore basically forfeiting. 

 

Honestly, Varland has been efficient. He has to go 6 or better if he stays on this pace. Even Rocco should oblige, there is no book on this kid yet.

The 3-2 pitch was a good pitch. Maybe an inch outside.

He's actually been pretty efficient. Ahead in most counts I'd say. 

To not let him back for another inning would be terrible. That said, I don't trust Rocco so who knows.

I might not let him face Judge again especially with runners on. But sure, send him out there. He's not even giving up hard contact.

Did you see him look up at his family there and smile. Proud as a peacock. I would have let him try here. Should be pitching around Judge either way and he has done well. Roccooooooooo
