RpR Verified Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Dodger need one more run , then they can say they beat the the Twins 7 to 0-1-2
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Figures the twins would go way out of character and pay big bucks for a bonafide star like correa and he comes here and is just kinda blah. Not bad. Not the problem of the team. But just not really all that impactful

Had a chance to win 3 in a row Sunday, but HAD to give Buxton and Correa the extra day off…and chose to do it at home against the Jays, rather than on the road against the Dodgers. I’ll take how to turn a 3-game win streak into a 2-game losing streak for $500, Alex.

To me, this one read "no clutch hits" in flashing neon lights. It comes with being too familiar with how this team operates.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Maybe just save the embarrassment and grant Betts 2nd base any time he's on 1st.
RpR Verified Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 They charge Megill with an error when Miranda is the one who looked like he never played ball before, good grief.
AussieG Verified Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 This strike zone looks interesting
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 That's ANOTHER scoreless inning from the Twins staff!
RpR Verified Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 7th inning and the Dodgers pitcher has a whole 75 pitches.
Brushback101 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 We are feckless against superior teams like this. It's like we get "mesmerized" by the pinstripes. Why is our 100 million dollar man not in cf? Our league leading hitter not playing? Our 35 million dollar ss barely loops a hit into rf. Ryan pitching down the middle. Waits till 2nd at bat against dodger players to mix in breaking/off speed? Come backer to him and he goes to first instead of 3b runner going home?? Is this game a future playoff snip-it?

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Ohtani is being his usual dominant self on the mound tonight, and unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your POV) the Twins are going to miss his turn this weekend.
