Trade talk, prospects, and the draft all bore me for the most part. They are filler and so much speculation.

I would think that the only thing more boring would be to take the time to post saying so.

My guess is that Sano gets one more go with this team.  I'm hoping he comes back invigorated and can give

the team a boost but if not bye-bye.  Regardless I would not pick up his option for 2023.

No trade = fair chance of winning the division and getting bounced in the playoffs.

Trades = perhaps better chance of the division and getting bounced a little later in the playoffs.

Luck and improved health = win, baby, win.

I thought it was relevant since the OP said something similar in the first paragraph.

I hate to tell you how little time it takes to write that and reflection comes in many forms.

How many of you liked the Gobert trade? Are you sick of having no chance when we get to the playoffs? I want to WIN! If Montas and Castillo are both healthy...go get both.

I'm an old goat too...and not the good kind. I agree with pretty much everything in your post, especially the set lineup point and also the bunts and SB's. I would add sacs to that as well. It's gotten a little bit more settled, but the lineup changes every single game just bugs the **** out of me.

Players are creature of habits from working daily work outs to how they cross the foul line.  Go with a set lineup.  Those players who say they are more alert and ready when the call comes, are just placating their manager.  Sure, everyone wants to play, but I like " best man for job" philosophy.

What they haven't got right is pitching ,...

they had better starting  pitching at the beginning of the season through June than anyone thought was possible , but bullpen was a wreck from the get go and hasn't stabilized yet  ...

Mostly because of dumpster diving  for depth  ....

The fact that starters rarely go beyond (or even to) 5 innings hasn't helped the bullpen.

If twins don’t make any moves to improve pitching it’s going to be tough!!! They have to don’t they!
