C'mon Pelf. Show us that last game was just a fluke.

And Dozier-zie up in the leadoff spot. Maybe the change gets both him and Hicksie going.

Hicksie finally moved downsie. Did Gardenhire pre-announce this as promised?

I'll assume it was announced from under a bus somewhere.

That lineup plus Pelfrey on the mound does not inspire a lot of confidence, but I thought for sure Correia would end up being the cure for the Angels hitting woes last night, so we shall see.

Mauer had an outstanding game last night, hopefully he can keep that going.

Tonight would be win number 6. That's same number of wins we had after 24 games on May 2nd last year. (God that first month was a living baseball hell.)

Actually moved down twice in one day. Wasn't it after last game when he said he didn't want to hurt his confidence by moving him down and now they want him to feel more comfrtable...these messages are so confusing! ;)

Really, though, it's great to see that it seems to mean Mauer is locked into the #2 spot in the order with all this upheaval in the lineup today.

Nice first inning for Pelfrey.
Consistently at 93 on the FSN gun.

Dozier made the pitcher throw 10 pitches -- doing a decent job as the leadoff hitter.

The ESPN feed I'm looking at shows only 7, including 5 fouls. Maybe they ran out of space to log the others?

I hope the Twins don't go 1-2-3 in their half of the second. That will bring Hicks to lead off the third; what's the point of dropping him down if he leads off anyway? :)

Pelfrey tipping his pitches. More hesitation in the windup when he guns it. When he rocks back and forth without so much pause, its been offspeed.

Exactly, there might be some 12 year old Angels fans reading this site.

Joe with a couple of are-bee-eyes. Maybe the mouth-breathers will start warming up to him.

Looking at this on the internet it appears that the ump is calling balls when Pelfrey is throwing strikes.

A double play would be nice at this point.

There it is! (3 runs too late).
