How far can they go?

Two playoff games plus three quarters of the third game, is about all, unfortunately.

I feel bad for you all who are diehard Wolves fans. You don’t deserve the same crap that Vikings and Twins fans endure year after year.

My god....that is one of the worst Minnesota playoff losses ever.  And I know that's a high bar.

Was in a bar. They turned it on and Minnesota had a sixteen point lead....I thought.. wow two times in a bar, two times they win.... Such naivete...

And we have the opportunity to be amongst the elite in sports and be one of the very few teams to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

You're living in a dream world, buddy.

More of a Matrix I think

I think the important part is the living part.

But i do like the Matrix.

Pretty sure i'm not the one.

Yeah, I’ve been following their recent games, and it’s been rough. They need to get their act together fast. I remember when my team had a similar slump and managed to turn it around. If they can rally and get back on track, they could still challenge Memphis. It's definitely possible, just need to see some consistency.

Out of curiosity, does our home arena have a clever nickname, like "the barn"?

Only that probably isn't so clever, what with the wildness of wolves and all...

I don't suppose the ever considered getting Kevin Costner to do a half time show?

Maybe we let them even the series, but if home court is an advantage, we took that serve from them...

And close as the standings were, it probably is considered an even matchup.

The Wolves looked terrible last night. After the first 20 minutes or so, the Lakers didn't look much better.

An ugly game all-around and I'm not sure what to take from it. We knew the Wolves wouldn't repeat their shooting from game one, nor are they nearly as bad as they looked in game two.

They only lost by 9 and looked like they were literally shooting bricks.

It's a loss I feel strangely good about.  Especially since even a few big moment makes (like Edwards with a chance to cut it to 6 in transition or Conley had a chance to cut to 10 late in the third) and that game might have been a sneaky win.

I agree. As good as game one was, game two was equally bad. And to lose by nine after all those bricks bodes well for the games back home.

How good were we in game 3? presumably okay, seeing we won...

The Wolves played pretty well. The Lakers spent much of the game absolutely crushing three-pointers at a level they cannot sustain, yet the Wolves still won. I'm pretty bullish on the Wolves in this series.

If the Wolves can shoot that poorly, and still end up winning like they did in game 5? We may have something special here…

Call me crazy, but I’d rather play the 2 seed Rockets next round than the 7 seed Warriors. Golden State’s depth and vast playoff experience scares me more than Houston that’s playing above their skis with young players.

That seems like a good take.

Standings are so clumped after Oklahoma that there isn't much difference between anyone.

Nope, give me the Warriors.  They're struggling with the size and physicality of the Rockets and we bring it even harder.

Frankly, I'm not worried about either of them, I'm already looking at the other half of the bracket.

Right now, as you said, if we can hit the broad side of a barn with our distance shooting we're going to make some good teams look bad.

You get your wish. Curry and Buckets have pulled too many rabbits out of their hats over the years and I’m scared they’re gonna do it again against the Wolves

You wouldn't be a Minnesota sports fan if you didn't fear the worst!

But I watched Adams and Senguin bully them all series long.  The Warriors won because no one on Houston could score to supplement the bully ball.

We can do both.
