Really sloppy effort tonight. Wolves didn’t show up to win, and continue laying bricks from the 3 pt line.

They couldn't beat the Gophers shooting 10% from 3.

Hopefully they saw GS has no rim protection.  Take it to them.

I stopped watching the game, it was sooooo bad.

But it was one game and a game they didn't lose by 30, WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE.

And that's slightly promising. They're not going to go 0-for-17 from beyond the arc again.

How I view this series will depend a lot on whether Curry is back and healthy. The Wolves really effed up game one by deciding to play their worst offensive basketball of the season while they had Curry out for the night. That could easily bite them in the ass and frankly, they should be pretty ****ing embarrassed about that showing.

Sounds like no Curry until Game 6.  Maybe 5, but I think that's unlikely.

Seriously, they win tht game by 20 with just an average shooting night.  But we've seen that sort of stupidity out of them all year.  I hope the 4th quarter showed them the path:

Golden State doesn't have anyone to be scared of in the paint.  Go at them and force them to pack it in.  Then shoot your heart out.

Ant taking multiple hits to his left ankle might be a factor this series… But if he can play through it, then Wolves in 6 is my prediction.

If they can just shoot competently from three the rest of the games should look like last night.

We abused them down low and guys actually hit the kick-outs.

Damn what an impressive 4th quarter to pretty much put a bow on this series. Wolves in 5

Ant and Julius having their way inside.  In these next few games it's really be nice to get NAW and DDV going.  We're getting less than nothing from those guys at this point.

Reason #1,853 why I will never be a diehard NBA fan… The Dallas Mavericks “won” the draft lottery tonight to get bailed out of their horrible Luka to LA trade. Total coincidence for a team with 1.8% of winning the lottery to do it this year I’m sure…

The league really, really needs to find a way to make the lottery happen live.  Or just abandon it.

It hasn't done squat to deter tanking.

The NHL just did it live this year. I get that it’s extremely boring to see bingo played out in real time. Them doing it behind closed doors keeps the conspiracy theories alive and well.

100%.  And the fact they are so adamant against it only throws gas on the fire.

Wemby got another running mate too at 6.5% odds.

The Eastern conference is Charmin toilet paper soft. 64 win Cleveland about to be eliminated and same with the 61 win Boston Celtics. I’m all for expanding the NBA so the Wolves can move out of the West and Ant can go on his Michael Jordan run through the East

When was the last time the East was even close to the West in talent?  Has it even happened in our lifetimes?

It has been a long damned time. It's not uncommon for the East to have 1-2 really strong teams but by the time you get to 4+ seeds, the talent discrepancy is comical.

Right.  Sure...the Celtics are good.  But it seems like my entire life the 10th seed in the West feels about as good as the 4 or 5 out East.

Free way to get people talking about the NBA

Right, they have good teams....but the West is usually much, much deeper.  Orlando is in the lottery if they are in the west.

With the 15th pick in the 2013 draft the Milwaukee Bucks selected a pretty much unknown skinny  Greek guy named Giannis.  At the time the pick was questioned.  They drafted a unicorn that brought a title 10 years later.

I'm a Buck fan not one of these Giannis come lately fans.  I was a Buck fan when NBA playoff games were on TV tape delayed if it all.  It's gonna be a long slog rebuild without the unicorn.  Last time it took about 50 years to get back to a title.

You're misunderstanding Levi. This discussion is at the conference level, not the team level. The East regularly has elite teams, like Milwaukee was for a few years.

The difference between the Eastern and Western Conferences is once you get down to the lower seeds. In most years, the eighth seed in the West would destroy the fifth seed in the East.

7 and 7:30 start times hell yeah!

Apparently The Association and TV suits think it's the marquee matchup.
