Alex Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Not a good night for math so far. SSS. Teams like the Twins and Royals defy the odds.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Teams like the Twins and Royals defy the odds. It's the mist...
Milkman Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Listening to dick/bert talk about Detroit I swear they are doing their best http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mMBbwErd59k/Tnkxr0xXsII/AAAAAAAAAO8/FZ3dFxYavTo/s1600/article-1005361-00C3FFBE00000578-7_468x328.jpg[/image] impression
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 ftfy. And I'm picturing Dick as the angry eyebrow dude on the right, what with his min-rants about the official scoring and umpiring so far. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mMBbwErd59k/Tnkxr0xXsII/AAAAAAAAAO8/FZ3dFxYavTo/s1600/article-1005361-00C3FFBE00000578-7_468x328.jpg
Milkman Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 First fify that was literal and appreciated.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Stolen base, error? Who wants to take a stab at that one? Unbelievable. Where's chief when you need application of clear and easily understood scoring rules?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hicksie dodges the sombrero, at least.
Milkman Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 That didn't just really happen? ........the mist? When do we get huge spiders and what not
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 First fify that was literal and appreciated. NP, and good work on your choice of visual.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 First fify that mentioned my mother. ftfy
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 This would be a good inning for the Twins to score at least two runs.
Milkman Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 ftfy son of buckninety, is that you?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 How long until a What's Wrong With Mauer thread?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Mssrs. Mauer and Morneau are not hitting the ball well. Twins chances diminish to near nothing when the heart of the order is dormant. How many hard hit balls have those two combined to hit? I would say less than 10. On a related note, I don't think Morneau will ever be what he once was, meaning his Twins' career will (and should) end either at the trading deadline or the close of his season.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hendriks only goes five. One run in five isn't bad, but he really showed the need for an out pitch.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hendricks is finally pitching well for the first time in his career and they take him out after five???
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hendricks is finally pitching well for the first time in his career and they take him out after five??? I hear yah, but I'm good with too early instead of too late for a guy like Liam who needs a good outing to build his confidence.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hendriks stays in the rotation..yes or no?
Alex Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Hendricks is finally pitching well for the first time in his career and they take him out after five??? High pitch count and the team has a day off tomorrow, so not a big worry regarding using up the pen.
snepp Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 For a moment there I thought the Twins were the ones in the field.
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Bert: Strong swing of Morneau: drink
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Way to waste a lead-off "double". When you get gifts like that, you have to capitalize on them.
Alex Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 For a moment there I thought the Twins were the ones in the field. Seriously seems like I've seem more misplayed easy flyballs these first three series than in half a season, and we don't even have Delmon out there.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 High pitch count and the team has a day off tomorrow, so not a big worry regarding using up the pen. 94 is not a high pitch count.
Aaron Cross Verified Member Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Nine games in, and this team is a certified embarassment.
