insagt1 Verified Member Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 After looking like little leaguers for the 1st two games, Twins came back nicely and actually looked like a regular, normal team competing to win ballgames. 2 very nice 1 run wins. Rogers got it done today. Twins still have a lightyear of ground to make up but maybe if they get a few more healthy bodies back, they can reverse this miserable season. Despite the k's, Sano contributed importantly in both the wins. Credit where due....doesn't happen that much this season. Winning is always more fun. (sidenote..O's beat down Cleveland today bigtime and have now won 4 of 5 after the 14 game losing streak. Mullins had 9 straight hits in the series. ..give the O's some pitching and, and, and...they may win as many games as the Twins!!!!?

Can't tell... Ian Anderson is out after Friday night and Colome would be only other arm available, I believe. I can only imagine what your negative comment would be if he threw Colome out there. ?? Ideally, I would want Rogers in with a clean set of bases anytime, and especially when pitching 2 days in a row, and the IRS problem the whole staff has (and I think Taylor is around 50% this year). But it all worked out,eh? Twins win a close game and performed like we thought they would at the beginning of the season. And yes, I would have railed if Colome would have been sent in, and I doubt I would have been alone, and none of us would have been happy about it. And I love Jethro Tull. Still.

Could be a Long Ball day. Atmospherically speaking. And yet....... you just never know!

Works great, and they're finding out some surprising things! What surprising things are they finding out? I am curious, and too lazy to look for myself for the moment.
