joefish Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 I would take Sano over Arraez at 3b. Yes.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Sanó did play a couple of games at third in ST this year. I would think he’d be an option there. Arraez at third is OK, I suppose (he needs to play somewhere),but whoever plays there is a notable step back from Donaldson.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Nooooooooo Way do I want to see his name on any IL, DL or any other list this early in the season.I blame rdehring. ashbury and rdehring 2
BeatTheRich Verified Member Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Donaldson to IL, retroactive to Friday, with Rooker up. Do-Hyoung Park: https://www.mlb.com/twins/news/josh-donaldson-placed-on-injured-list
Fatbat Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Pickles help with dehydration. Apparently donaldson will be out another week. Buy stock in gedney
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Arraez needs to be in the lineup every day. Idk if he has to pitch. Lol. Good thing we have alot of youngsters that can play multiple positions!! Donaldson will be back on Saturday. He is getting massaged today and eating jars of pickles.Has anyone let him know he can take the pickles out of the jar first? ashbury 1
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 Has anyone let him know he can take the pickles out of the jar first? This sounds like the punch line to one of Chief's game thread jokes, that I'm not quite remembering. Brock Beauchamp 1
rdehring Verified Member Posted April 4, 2021 Posted April 4, 2021 I blame rdehring. Thanks Chief, got a good laugh out of that one. I guess the answer is having Donaldson take hitting lessons from Sano. Strike out most of the time so he can walk back to the dugout. When he doesn't K, he can jog around the bases for his home run. Minfidel Verified Member Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 When will Nick Gordon be major-league ready? By now the answer is, “Never.”
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 When will Nick Gordon be major-league ready? By now the answer is, “Never.”It’s unlikely now but hard to say for certain given he was laid out for basically all of 2020 due to being a covid long-hauler. Which is really unfortunate for him because he almost surely would have gotten a taste of MLB by now had that not happened.
