That's the game. I'll let it run until I return from Fort Myers early April. The first person who will guess who is different that the othersand why, will win a game used bat of a Twins' first round pick. And you have to guess in the comments section here. Shoot the winner will be announced early April
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I have the answer, but I'm not going to post at your blog (don't have a sign in, don't want one.) Rod Carew is the only Twins HOF member who is also a member of another team's HOF (Angels.) Someone can now take my answer and go post on Thrylos' blog.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 nah.... wrong ( ) And I hate to give hints about that
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Which other Twins HOF member is a member of another team's HOF?
Nick Nelson Site Manager Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 This is the most silly and vague contest question I've ever heard. There are literally dozens of ways it could be answered correctly.
WJ Provisional Member Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Carl Pohlad. Only member to win a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
woolhouse Provisional Member Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Greg Gagne. Only player to share a name with a former professional wrestler (albeit a different pronunciation.)
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Frank Viola is the only member whose last name is also a french word.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Like Chief said, this is kind of arbitrary... but my guess (posted on the coments). Jim Rantz is the only guy who never actually played a MLB game for the Twins.
John Bonnes Site Manager Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 I wonder if any of them were an actual twin - i.e. had a bother or sister born on the same day.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Jim Rantz is the only one still employed by the organization and employed in the same postion he is best known for. TK and Oliva have helped as spring training instructors, and Blyleven is an announcer, but Rantz is still in the front office.
Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 Seems like someone (almost) gave the correct answer but in the wrong place
Highabove Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I've been looking for a Lenny Faedo Bat for years.
spideyo Provisional Member Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Wait...did Herb Carneal and Calvin Griffith play in Twins games? On the blog someone said Jim Rantz is the only one who didn't...that can't be right

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 It isn't rightWhich is how it's "different" than all the other answers...which ARE right.
