East Coast Twin's Achievements

  1. The Twins experienced both the Field of Dreams and a nightmarish series this weekend.
  2. Scootering under the influence (SUI).
  3. Presumably there will be players accepting qualifying offers prior to a December 1 shutdown. I can't imagine a new CBA would negate such agreements. Seems more reasonable that a new CBA would only remove the QO and compensation draft picks beginning with the 2027/28 offseason.
  4. A player doesn't need to be added to the 40 man roster to be protected from the MILB portion of the Rule 5 draft. They only need to be on the 38 man AAA roster.
  5. Hopefully he's also Googling "How to sell a baseball team."
  6. It looks like you're correct. According to MLB.com, within seven days of the DFA, the team can either trade the player or place them on waivers. If my reading of the language is correct, the Twins have until Saturday to place Woods-Richardson on waivers. Designate for Assignment (DFA) | Glossary | MLB.com
  7. It would be interesting to see if Falvey is willing to discuss what transpired that day, what led to the decision to trade the bullpen at the deadline.
  8. Saw this Twins Cities Business podcast on Youtube. They detail how the team accumulated so much debt during the covid years and through the loss of television revenue.
  9. The Twins prospects on yesterday's MiLB list. 14. Walker Jenkins 52. Kaelen Culpepper 65. Eduardo Tait 74. Emmanuel Rodriguez
  10. Written by Chris Crawford. Not sure who he is. Four Twins are listed, three in the top 54: 7. Walker Jenkins 44. Emmanuel Rodriguez 54. Kaelen Culpepper 83. 11. The Twins offered $5.85 million. Ryan asked for $6.35 million. Interesting that the Twins treat the deadline as a cutoff date and won't further negotiate before the hearing. https://www.mlb.com/twins/news/twins-arbitration-deadline-2026
  12. Gleeman reference to Chinese food.
  13. Presumably with a Spring Training invite. He made 28 relief appearances last year for the White Sox before being released in September. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/minnesota-twins
