Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 C'mon, Eddie, put this game on ice.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 ERA doesn't account for inherited runners scoring, which is a more telling stat for a reliever FIP hasn't been above 3 the past three years; including this year. Dude is a solid reliever. Stats back it up. He's having a rough season, but all in all has pitched less than 20 innings. Now, should he be used in high leverage situations in the playoffs? I don't know. Maybe against a lefty, but has a ways to go to earn the right to pitch to multiple righties. He's a top 6 pitcher in the bullpen DuffeyClippardRomoMayRogersStashakAlcalaThielbar
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Arraez my boy!! Back up to .315, right where we expected his average to be.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Can you believe that from Arraez? A wimpy single. He'll make it to 2nd eventually, i'm sure.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 He'll make it to 2nd eventually, i'm sure.Er... maybe next time.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 He'll make it to 2nd eventually, i'm sure. That didn't age so well.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Cmon Cubs, let’s get some runs
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Cruz has been in a slump; even before the injury.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Oakland loses 12-3, so a Twins win would slide them up to the No. 2 seed heading into tomorrow.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Oakland loses 12-3, so a Twins win would slide them up to the No. 2 seed heading into tomorrow. They will need to win tomorrow as the Cubs have nothing to play for
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Oakland loses 12-3, so a Twins win would slide them up to the No. 2 seed heading into tomorrow. Would play the Sux. I'd almost rather play the Astros.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Would play the Sux. I'd almost rather play the Astros. If things hold up, Cleveland is the No. 7. (Ninja'ed by LVT.)
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 And to honor the prevelance of doubles here...
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Cleveland Right. After tonight they'll be slated to play Cleveland. Which really seems stupid on MLB's part. They've played each other so many times this season. Let's see some different matchups.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 I’m still hoping for a Cubs comeback
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Right. After tonight they'll be slated to play Cleveland. Which really seems stupid on MLB's part. FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 One last thing regarding Rogers... Are we ready to give up on Jorge? He's having a tough year based on his previous stats.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 I don’t like that, waste
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Buxton gets that.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 No reason not to challenge in the bottom of the 8th.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Hip Hip...
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 One last thing regarding Rogers... Are we ready to give up on Jorge? He's having a tough year based on his previous stats.big difference, when Rogers first came I thought he was only good against lefties, then for a short time he proved me wrong, now he’s back to only good against lefties, that’s why I said this is who he is
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Author Posted September 27, 2020 Hip Hip...Oh well. Don't get a 9th double. Lilly doesn't get gilded today...
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 27, 2020 Posted September 27, 2020 Right. After tonight they'll be slated to play Cleveland. Which really seems stupid on MLB's part. They've played each other so many times this season. Let's see some different matchups. For one thing Houston should be the number 8 seed
