I guess my point is, Tigers we’re bound to score that inning, Twins don’t really have anybody available just to shut them down. This wasn’t gonna be a 2-1 win, sometimes you need offense

Reducing his K% by 20% would put it around 16% That is quite a bit below the league average of 23%...I don't think that is happening. However, if he can lower it by 6-8%, which is doable I think, it would be a massive improvement

He probably meant 20% of his current K rate. 20% of 44 is 8.8.
