Nova pitching a great game tonight. There's a reason he has been in the league this long. Any veteran at any given night can do a solid job.

People will always try to sue. Skydiving waivers at drop zones use in your face bold and larger fonts to make sure one knows it is their choice and risk, and people still litigate (rarely win, but sometimes do, even though they signed and initial their right to do so away).

in Las Vegas dump trucks typically have signs on their trucks saying “ stay back 200 ft, not responsible for broken windshields “. I assure you you are responsible for anything that flies out of you truck, no matter how big your sign is

Was not expecting a 4 game sweep of the White Sox in Chicago anyways. I don't know what in the world is going on with Cleveland, but every other team in MLB rarely can sweep a 4 game series on the road. It's hard to do.

im sorry but if you’re gonna take a baby to a ballgame and sit in the infield lower deck you have to be aware of what could happen, and if you’re not sure if you could protect that child then you shouldn’t even be there

Hundreds of thousands of individual attendees come to games every year. Many get hit by foul balls even if paying attention. Protecting someone else is more difficult than protecting oneself. If a team allows children of any age to sit in the lower deck, and any of those children are subsequently injured, it is a foreseeable result, and thus, negligent.

So are you a suer? Or a circle of awareness guy and don't drive behind something that looks like it could be trouble?

Boy I am sure glad Perez walked the feared Wellington Castillo. I'll tell you what, this guy can hit. .179 batting average. Need to watch out for guys like that.

Looks to be a 3 for 1 deal with the Marlins and the headline should maybe be reversed

Marlins land Diaz for Romo, Valtamort and a PTBNL

Understand, I'm not advocating taking children to high-danger areas, then ignoring the danger. I'm saying that by allowing children in these areas fully knowing that parents will not or will not be able to protect all of them, they share in the responsibility.

driving on city streets it most times impossible to stay back 200 ft. Somebody will be behind that truck. My point is that his sign is meaningless. I can put a sign in my yard that states trespassers will be shot, but that wouldn’t make it legal to do so

What the heck is going on!  Nova has a ERA over 5 and we have 2 hits thru 6.

Every team has a bad game once in a while. Except for Cleveland which hasn't lost since the early days of the Great Depression.

1-0 complete game 4 hit (one homer) shutout last outing (Marlins). So he is just dialed in, apparently. Seems very hitable to me watching this game, though.

I /think/ I started it, but forget how and don't feel like going back to check.

we’re not paying much attention, but they have netting so we’re good

That's what is so crazy about the run that Cleveland is on. You would think they would face a hot pitcher even once every 10 games, wouldn't you?

3 runs, 6 innings, 'Quality Start' - a little wobbly, but Perez did his job.

Need men on base - Sox pitchers struggle in the stretch
