Not the worst play by Sano to overrun second base. A good throw would have resulted in an out at the plate so trying to get them to cut the throw was the right thing to do.

Am I the only one driven nuts by the fact that Astudillo is batting 3rd again? The guy has zero plate discipline, a team-low .677 OPS, and is an awful baserunner. It's nice to have a 3rd catcher, but he shouldn't be getting DH at-bats and if he's in the line-up he should be near the bottom. Kepler was 2/3 with a HR off today's SP, probably would have rather seen him in the lineup despite a left-hander pitching.
