First pitch right down the middle by Rodgers not my idea of smart pitching.

Hmm ... Ball to Hoskins, but strike to Garver ... Robo-umps please

Strikeout to Garver and walk to Hoskins.

[bighat]

Good grief, finally my heart rate can return to normal. What a crazy inning, Phils had no business having the bases loaded there.

[Don Walcott]

Whew! I was about to get upset with Ash there.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Wow... Bases juiced, 2 outs in the eighth, 1 run game.

Picked a fine time to check in, eh?

To Hernandez.... that's better.

Whew! Out of the inning.

Can't say I am excited to see Parker coming in the bottom of the 9th..... and Kimbrel is still available....

So that’s how we reversed the curse.

It’s ok to do that anyway

joking

[bighat]

3-2 game and Rocco hasn't found a way to use Cruz at all? Two straight days on the bench?

[LaBombo]

I haven't seen a play like Adrianza's, on a slow roller to third, since the days of Miguel Sano! Whatever happened to that guy, anyway?

/ yes, I'm back - hope I'm not jinxing anything, in this tight game

On the contrary, Rogers seemed to be saving his best sequence of pitches for your return.  Well done.

[ashbury]

Our 1Bman >> their 1Bman on foul pops.

You only get the full experience if you were holding your breath for 5-10 minutes before checking

[Blake]

It was fun to hit the MLB.TV wayback machine and watch the Twins score.

[h2oface]

Awesome at bat by Schoop!

[bighat]

Why isn't Cruz hitting for Adrianza here? Could slot Marwin right into 3rd base for the bottom of the 9th.

He and I go way back. I'm his good luck charm - the game I saw him in the Arizona Fall League, he got winged by a batted ball and didn't play the rest of that season. I'm sure he was pleased to know I was posting today.

[h2oface]

Three run easy swing homer coming up from Buxton...

O ye of little fortune-telling

Sparing him one more plunkin'?

Fwiw, I was hoping to have seen him by now too, but the shorter bench and Cruz's standing as heir apparent to the Chili Davis "Break Glass in Case of Defensive Emergency" role must have made RoBa err on the side of caution.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Rosario, not Cruz

[bighat]

Ok Bux, got 'em over. Love to see him try and succeed to hit the ball to right. Well done. No strikeouts today for Bux either.

[bighat]

ROSIE! OH YES SWEET BABY JEEBUS!

[Don Walcott]

EDDIE!!

[LaBombo]

RoRo!!!!!!!!!!! For the Win!!!

[ashbury]

Three Run Jack Rosario!!!!

[h2oface]

So I was one batter off........ damn. Sweeeeeeet.

[Don Walcott]

Thankfully, we don’t have to see Parker in a save situation.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Rosario, not Cruz

_{ahem... that post was intended as a mild criticism ...}

Rosario is a monster in the late innings so far this year.

[Don Walcott]

How could he walk Tortuga?
