Tom Froemming Twins Daily Contributor Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 Max Kepler hit a leadoff home run this afternoon and followed it up with another tater in his second plate appearance. Here's the first: And here's the second:

ChrisKnutson Verified Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 I know Polanco’s not in the lineup today, but I find it interesting that Rocco is having Kepler lead off, instead of batting him 3rd, 4th, or even 2nd. Could this be a sign of things to come?? I mean, his walk rate is much better than Polanco’s (11.6 > 7.5).

Linus Verified Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 He has a nice swing for sure. Perhaps one reason the Twins are betting on a breakthrough with Max
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted February 24, 2019 Posted February 24, 2019 The press and team make a big deal about prospect invites to spring training, but then we see half the teams fielded in spring training with guys like Pat Dean and players from other orgs trying to catch on. It really isn't a big deal at all. "Who are those guys?"
