Why wait on Kuechel and Kimbrel

I don’t fully understand why we are waiting to sign these two players.

I get the idea of the front office wanting to see how Sano and Buxton perform, but we will fill those spots IF those guys collapse, but we need some pitching foundation.

We have the money.

These two fill our need.

Let’s sign em.

I think the Kuechel ship sailed when we signed Perez (not that I like that, but that's a different issue)..

 

But Kimbrel... seriously... get it done.

It's possible that they have tried and neither player wants to be here. It takes two sides.

 

That said, I'd be happy to have either or both of them.

I think the Pohlads are saving their money until they can get a new ballpark.

I'd describe it as no intention to sign them rather than waiting.

But Kimbrel... seriously... get it done. 

If you are going to sign Perez I think you are not planning on fielding a team that would have need of a closer as talented as Kimbrel.

Bad attitude? Maybe, but that's what it says to me.
