Blake Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 So, Detroit is getting on the nerves of the Umpires? The tiger team is showing some spunk? Gee, I know of a team that could use a little attitude injection.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I surely don’t know as much as some on here, but I knew this year was never going to work if we got less than ideal production from dozier, sano and buxton. bighat and Nine of twelve 2
Blake Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Bremer must get bonus cash for making excuses for players - UnrealWell, he can't really run down his employer. however, hearing him sigh as he's talking about another pop-up by the Twins while flailing against another low power lefty is comedy gold, as far as I'm concerned.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Mauer scoops that. edit: but not that. Danchat 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 I feel bad for Brian. He’s not increasing his value on the market.I feel worse for the rest of us Nine of twelve 1

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Speaking of Harry Carey... How long did it take Carey to reach a blood alcohol level of .08?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 OK boys, let's get Berrios the W!

DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Buxton: Only 23. IMMENSELY talented. On everyone's top prospect lists and number 1 or 2 for a couple of years. Started very slow in 2017 before settling in very nicely. Migraine issue, fractured toe and no rehab here in 2018. Give up on him now??? Just saying. bighat Verified Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 Molitor is about 3 generations behind so you'd think we wouldn't have to worry about this. Speaking about that, did anyone see the interview with the TB manager Kevin Cash re: pitching Romo 2 days in a row, etc? The guy might be a bit crazy, but he sounded excited about trying new things. Clearly has a nose for the game and is not afraid to really shake things up. Molitor is just about as old-school as they get, and not in a good way. There are old school guys like Buck Showalter who have some fire, but Molitor is just a robot.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 We should be winning this game Nine of twelve 1
DocBauer Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 FWIW, always had hopes for Goodrum as a solid bench player. Wish we had been able to bring him back for this year.

That said, we're all pretty frustrated and venting about how terrible he looks right now doesn't mean we dislike or want to give up on Bux. It's just really, really hard to watch someone play this poorly and say positive things. DocBauer 1
