Nice start for Romero. I thought he’d get roughed up a little, I mean Duffey’s and Matt Garza’s debuts against the Jays didn’t even get to the 4th inning with Duffey giving up 6 earned in 2 and Garza giving up 8 in 2.2. Even more impressive overall is giving up 0 runs for an MLB debut. Sure Romero has stuff he needs to work on, but even he’s aware of it, that’s half the battle right there.
