Thoughts on the Manfred interview:

 

He said last night's game couldn't have been scripted better.  You're sure you wouldn't have preferred a 4-3 Twins win on an Eddie Rosario walk off Grand Slam with two outs in the ninth?  I find that more compelling than a 6-1 game.

 

On Roberto Clemente; he claimed the Roberto Clemente award is their biggest award.  I wasn't aware they had renamed the MVP and/or Cy Young award.

 

He also said he's open to a permanent team in PR.  That team is going to redefine small market.

No way PR gets an MLB team..like you said they wouldn't be able to support it sadly. Likely just saying it because of the circumstances.
