Slegers should be right at home pitching today, he's basically facing a AAA lineup, which he's proven to be pretty good against.

There's a good chance this is Tonkin's last outing as a Twin.

 

 

 

Or, y'know, maybe Tonkin becomes a solid reliever for another team and 8 years from now, the Twins go dumpster diving and sign him to a minor league contract. With all of the zany things that happen here, that wouldn't surprise me very much.

Just a reminder: this game is not over until Romine pitches in the ninth. I'm predicting that Sano hits a 9-run homerun.

Not 2 or 5 or 7, but 9!
